THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO KEPPA
Shemayon Keppa, the man you know as Saint Peter, confesses his murder of Ananias and Sapphira. The couple had joined the new cult because they had heard that Jesus had said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.”
Keppa had taken advantage of these words and had relationships with many beautiful women, who felt blessed if they fell pregnant to the man who had touched the Son of God. However, Sapphira would have nothing to do with him, though she went with his younger brother Andrew, who was in awe of her body and her sexual prowess. Keppa calls Ananias for a private talk, confronting him with fact that he knew they had lied to him about giving everything they owned to the Church. Ananias admits that they had kept some back as they believed the cult would be closed, when Rome thought it had grown too big.
Keppa says that he hadn’t even given his wife to him, Ananias tells Keppa that she would not lie with him because he was too old and fat. Anger grows inside Keppa, he tells Ananias that to lie to him and to deny him was to deny God. The rage takes control of his body, a white flame of holy energy comes from the centre of his brow and consumes Ananias. Still under the possession of the power, he goes to the Sapphira’s tent, she taunts him and mocks him. His anger rises and he destroys her with the same Holy Spirit. He later discovers that he had not killed them but sent them into the Void before Time. There the couple were reborn and became as gods, and when Keppa dies he finds them there to claim his soul and force him into an eternity of servitude.
