MOTHER AYAHUASCA

Shizuko, Jeffrey Dharma and Remus are in the Amazon Basin, participating in a four night ayahuasca ceremony in the hope to find their spirit beasts…

"The night had begun the same for Shizuko as it had for me, the long wait for Don Cahuana and Lucy to come to her tembo but she was aware that her daughter Tenshi was close by. The shaman and Lucy entered; she drank the stronger medicine and with the help of the chanting soon found herself in the Mother’s realm. She was in a deep forest, the Universal Forest not just an Amazon jungle. Sure enough Tenshi was there, her body naked and tattooed like an Amazonian jungle woman.

Her heart raced with the excitement of possibly coming face to face with the Universal Woman. Deep inside she carried trepidation that Mother Ayahuasca would admonish her for the years she had sold her femininity and sexuality in the pornographic industry. They broke through the trees at last and there, bathed in the golden light of a perpetual golden afternoon, the three women embraced. The Mother was not the huge figure of a goddess that Shizuko had imagined; she was a woman like them but wore a gold and neon crown, clothed in a translucent gown that did not conceal the voluptuous body beneath. Shizuko could not recall her face, it seemed to be that of all women .

She looked down at her own body in humility, to be shocked to find that she was looking at the form of the young Dora Yaki, the Japanese Adult Video idol, dressed as a Cosplay schoolgirl and she felt ashamed. ‘Mother, I do not want you to see my like this,’ she felt more exposed than when she had met the Mother naked, ‘you make me feel that I have sold my womanhood, I am so sorry!’ ‘You have not been brought here to apologise to me,’ the Mother spoke inside her head, in the universal language of thought, ‘take my hand, there are some people who want to meet with you very much.’ Taking the Mother’s hand, she was led up an Inca pyramid, in apprehension Shizuko thought that she was about to face a sacrifice but she was wrong. When the three women reached the platform at the top of the structure Shizuko looked down and, in all directions, as far as the horizon a congregation of mostly men of all nationalities, applauded her. Tenshi spoke, ‘The Mother wants you to see all these people that you have brought happiness to, you were their lover and companion in their loneliness.’ In the very front row Shizuko met my eyes, now filled with tears of joy. My wonderful lady had finally received the gratitude and recognition for the brief happiness she had brought to so many lonely lives. Each soul threw a bouquet of flowers up towards her and the world became a gentle petal storm, sweet scented and fragrant. A small figure was making its way up the pyramid steps, a tanuki, a Japanese raccoon dog, bandit masked and smiling it walked on two legs towards her carrying a jewel in the heart of a glass lotus. ‘Om mani padme hum,’ it repeatedly chanted and handed Dora Yaki this trophy of a lifetime’s dedication to the happiness of others.
